Jade vine, back to my roots

Ok I’ve just done the new repeatable event/minigame “The Jade Vine”

Here’s the summary of it:

After you get the seed, plant with super compost and pay the farmer 10 wildblood hops to look after it. It’s seems once you pay the farmer that he always looks after it. Even after you plant a new plant so this is a one time fee. (This may not always be the case though – Marlaine had to pay the third time she planted her seed.)

After the plant grows, don’t bother pruning. I tried and didn’t get any exp at all for it, but after pruning it, (under 3 hours later) it went wild and I had to fight and kill it anyhow. So Jagex seem to mean this creature to be fought not pruned. Also you get 1.5k from health checking.

Now, after 3 hours of growing – roughly – you’ll be able to fight it. Keep secetaurs in your inventory and have a woodcutting axe equipped. Take good food and/or protect from melee, fight and kill it. If you distance yourself to use range or magic, it’ll range you. It also casts bind so you won’t be able to move away.

After you kill it you always get a new seed. Simply use super compost and replant it.
