Updates, Updates and more updates

Well it has been a long long time since I last updated this, and well – in that time, I’ve gone from rags to riches and back to rags again. At one stage, I had 25 million GP in in my bank as shown here:

(Click for a larger image [as always])

For a complete and up to date image of what I have atm – sob – just go to my web site >Located right here<.

I decided to sell my Veracs temporarily and use the funds together with my Santa because I felt compelled to upgrade to a blue mask.

(No sobs necessary – hahaha!) I will have to get Veracs back soon – I already miss it. The Kalphite queen is a rather exciting beast to fight solo, especially when she can and often does hit 4-31′s in rapid succession….

Until I do gain Veracs back, my kill tally stands at:

Kill 1: Adamant spear
Kill 2: Amulet of power
Kill 3: Rune chainbody
Kill 4: Amulet of power
Kill 5: 30 Death runes
Kill 6: Amulet of power
Kill 7: 7 Lobsters
Kill 8: 75 Nature Runes
Kill 9: 500 Mithril arrows
Kill 10: 75 Nature runes
Kill 11: Tooth half of key
Kill 12: 19 Blood runes
Kill 13: 500 Mithril arrows
Kill 14: 75 Nature runes
Kill 15: 19 Blood runes

Anyhow, I’ve set myself upon a path of 99 firemaking. Let’s see if I can make it or not…..

After due contemplation, I’ve decided to drop support for Internet Explorer 6 and below on my website due to its inconsistent support for web standards such as CSS. Internet Explorer 7 however is fully supported, and so is the open source and free browser, Mozilla Firefox, which you can find HERE. I also strongly urge support of Mozilla Firefox. Since it is Open Source, it will always be free! Also, it is a lot more secure than Internet Explorer since any problems that do arise are fixed straight away – unlike Microsoft who just suggest that you upgrade your operating system!

Also, in response to the new Runescape updates this week – I really like it! Varrock looks absolutely gorgeous! Considering what they did in Falador and the previous graphic updates, I can see Jagex is going to make every area of Runescape standout and be totally unique!Keep up the great work Jagex!

The Achievement Diary

Well I’ve completed the new diary, and received the best gloves and all the XP lamps, and I have to say that these gloves will help me a hell of a lot…

You can only collect the gloves in order – for example, you can do all the hard tasks, then all the medium tasks… but if you haven’t done the easy, you can’t collect the gloves..

You are probably very interested in what the rewards are from these, so ok I’ll list them in order.

Easy diary:
You get the level 1 gloves which give half price travel within Karamja this includes travel to and from Karamja. In addition you get discounts at all shops in Karamja, for example without these gloves it costs a whopping 300k tokkul to get the obsidian stone which makes the amulet of fury, ring of stone, bracelet of regeneration and the berserker necklace, with these gloves costs 260k tokkul, thats a huge 40k off the normal price! In addition to this, you also get a lamp that grants you 1k xp in a skill of your choosing.

Medium Diary:
After acquiring these level 2 gloves, you get improved agility XP from the Brimhaven agility arena, as well as a 5k experience lamp!

Hard Diary:
After accomplishing the task of completing the diary, your gloves gain the ability teleport you to a gem rock mine underneath Shilo. This glove upgrade gives you the ability to infinitely and freely teleport to Shilo, plus access to a gem mine few can mine! In addition to this, your also get a 10k experience lamp!

After completing this diary, I’d have to say the hardest part is actually acquiring a gout tubar to trade for the machete. I ended up actually buying one for 200k. It’ll be very interesting to see what Jagex comes out with next – in the manual, they’ve already hinted at Wilderness and Mortania ones!

The lands of RuneScape are varied and picturesque. Even the fetid swamps of Mort Myre and the blasted wastes of the Wilderness possess their special charms for those who care to look.

Autoers, Gold Farming

We’re all tired of autoers right? We’re all tired of gold farmers right?

There’s only ONE solution that will solve both of these issues that I know of…….

Account Verification
First off, we should have to verify a primary account with Jagex, with some sort of proof of identification, such as the ip address – which Jagex has already anyway. After we have done this, we should be able to create as many characters under the main verified account, free or members, but we should have only ONE verified account. That way, if Jagex finds someone autoing or gold farming, they can ban the primary account and all satellite characters under that account.I realize this may seem harsh and a bit big brotherish, but it is the ONLY real solution to this problem…….This will not affect people having multiple characters as long as they are rule abiding people.

Free players should stay on free and members should stay on members. This would nip those auto woodcutters right in the trunks – wham. If the autoers – most cutting yews on free worlds – could not trade with members, it would go the same way as the rune essence mining. How long did it take until we no longer saw auto mining and huge trading of rune essence? It closed down the rune essence autoers almost overnight! Besides, it isn’t fair that members go over to pk free players in wildy. Members have much better access to food and great combat training – much easier than free players. How many level 126 free players are there? Most probably got those levels in members.
