New Blog, 96 Fletching and House plans, Forum Software

Forum Software
Been looking at SMF some more, I’ve tested this forum software out, and well it seems great, I guess if I ever decide I have a use for forums I’ll be set.

House Plan
I’ve created a Plan of my house I’ll upload it to my site when I have time, But in the meantime I’ve placed it on here, Click on the thumbnail to get a larger Picture



Fletching Level
Well, I managed to get my level 96 fletch today, only 3 levels left to go before I get level 99.

New Blog
Well, this is the first day of using WordPress as a new blogging tool. Since I won’t be having to use an ftp client to upload my blog posts from now on. This should keep this blog a little bit more up to date.

Swiftswitch, Blaze, links

Runescape
-Ok about 1 hour after I posted the last blog, Swiftswitch was updated. What can I say, it happens. Though I’ll still probably stay using the Blaze Client at least for now.

-Well I’ve added a links page for players Runescape websites. I’ll probably have to do a database or table layout as I get more entries but that is easy enough to change.

Swiftswitch, Skillcapes, Strider, Barbarian assault, Blaze

-I’ve tried the new mini-game “barbarian assault” myself. After I trained my “assault” levels up quite a bit in there, I realized that this new game is totally pointless. No xp, and most of the rewards are just a bunch of low leveled items…

Overall just another try-it-and-forget-it waste of time game. They could of made this mini-game great….

Feels like Jagex is running out of idea’s. They seem to have no clue and refuse to do what players ask, even though they still run surveys claiming that they want to know what we want.

oh and don’t get me started on that new high level quest “contact”, A level 60 combat could do it. What high level SKILL requirements are there? None. So Jagex is still ignoring what their players ask for.

But then I suppose all those lower level players would be crying cause they couldn’t wear their quest capes anymore. Gee, I thought quest capes were supposed to be a big achievement, not a mid level achievement cape.

I’ve switched over to the Blaze client since I’ve had to wait for the Swiftswitch update. It’s been over 2 weeks since the Jagex rule change. Strider must be having problems because he’s had plenty of time to update his client. I’ve found a few features I prefer, so I may stay with Blaze. We’ll see.

113 combat, Record tears of guthix, Site Code

I got my prayer level today which got me my 113 combat level so I’ll say yipee. Here’s a screenshot of it:

I have also gotten my best tears of guthix result ever! Here’s a pic, and that beautiful lady behind me is my real life wife, Marlaine.

Anyhow, I’m off to do some more slayer and fletch now. A little later, I might go and ckeck out that barbarian assault mini-game. Those gloves of lightness sound useful……. all this on 20 sharks, oh I might have to go fish for a bit. Oh my! So much to do!

Still cleaning up the site code a lot, which is far too boring to go into detail here.
Anyhow, I’m off to do a bit more of that player site links thing I have been talking about. Guess it’s about time I got that done.
I have also added a new Skill shot.

Going for 113 combat, CSS

I’ve gotten yet a few more levels, and have switched to ranging blue dragons in the ogre enclave south of Yanille. I’m going for another prayer level which will hopefully get me 113 combat.

Apart from adding a couple of tip sheets, which I do plan on massively expanding, I’ve started to clean up some of my site code, starting with the upgrade I did of this blog to CSS. None of this will be hugely visible, though it’ll make format revision and future entries far easier to do.

Skillshots, Runescape falador Riots, Tips sheets update

Runescape:
-Well alot has happened on rs since my last post.

I’ve gotten quite a few levels and pretty much due for another skill shot I guess.

There have been huge protest riots, with people quiting and/or spamming their little hearts out on Runescape since Jagex stated that all 3rd party clients were banned from Runescape. Since I’m in the group that uses the client Swift Switch, I chose to be in the group that resigned their memberships, and I emailed Jagex to tell them why I quit.

Here are a few screen shots of the Runescape riots:

As you can see it was pure chaos.

-I’ve updated a little here and a little there, though nothing of huge note well none thats ready to upload yet. I’ve got a more advanced tip sheet guide nearly ready, with more guides!!
