Once you finish the regular Ardougne Achievement Diary, Aleck asks if you would be willing to take on a few more tasks – agree and your latest tasks will be counted at you finish them. You will see that a new listing – the Elite Tasks – show up even before talking to him. These tasks are high level but few.
Elite Tasks:
Skill levels required:
Level 81 Fishing
Level 93 Summoning
Level 82 Thieving

How to get gloves of silence – have them crafted by the owner of the Fancy Dress Shop in Varrock using two Dark kebbit furs. The Dark kebbits are in the Falconry area – AKQ. Make extra pairs to go with your new cloak because the cloak does have a thieving mask on it – and it does give great assist when thieving in Ardougne.

Go fishing on the Fishing Trawler found in Port Khazard – World 116 for full boats. Buy 50 or 60 swamp paste, 10 ropes, and/or 2 bailing buckets from the General Store at Port Khazard to go fishing. Also talk to Tindel Marchant about weapons while in Port Khazard.
Switch over to Lunar spells and tele to the Ourania Altar, catch a red salamander outside of the altar, and then craft some runes there to get credited for three of the tasks.
One of the baffling spots of this diary was trying to find the spot to go back to the past and speak to Sarah. It’s between the bridge North of East Ardougne and the fenced in area, at the very smallest point.

He says
This body armour is magically enhanced to help you with your Smithing and Mining. There is a furnace, not far from here, in Edgeville. Use this armour there and, when smelting up to and including steel, you will have a chance of making an extra bar every time. Also, when you mine with this armour on, you will have a chance of mining extra ores from the rocks up to and including coal.
You also receive a 1000xp lamp to apply to whichever skill you choose. Also, merchants will give you better selling and buying prices in Varrock.
The Medium Tasks:
-Have the Apothecary in Varrock make a Strength potion (red spider eggs, 5gp, & limpwurt root)
-Enter the Champion’s Guild
-Take the Dagon-Hai shortcut to the chaos portal

-Escape from the spider lair in Varrock Sewers with some red spider eggs
-Use the spirit tree north of Varrock
-Perform the four emotes from the Stronghold of Security
-Select a colour for a new kitten – wear activated Ring of Charos and pay 100gp (if you have to shoo a cat to be able to get a new kitten color, catch rats and get cat amulet first – sigh)

-Browse through Oziach’s Armour Shop
Once you’ve finished all the Medium tasks, take your armour to Reldo, in the Varrock library (first floor – north), to have it up graded and receive the rest of your rewards.
Reldo takes the Varrock armour and attaches some more plate metal to it, filling it out to look like a proper suit of armour. He etches some words into the armour, which glows slightly before fading.
Reldo says:
I have enhanced your body armour with a spell so that, when using the Edgeville furnace, you’ll have the chance of smelting an extra bar up to mithril. It will also give you the chance of an extra ore when Mining up to mithril as well.
Smithing can take time, so I have placed a small speed enhancement on the armour. When you smith with this armour on, there is a chance that you will be able to smith faster each time and thus decrease the time it takes to produce forged items.
There is also another skill lamp (5000 xp) and Reldo tells you that you can get another set of armour from him if you lose yours.
The Hard Tasks
-Pick poison ivy from your bush Farming patch in Varrock
-Use the pipe shortcut in Varrock Sewers, near the moss giants

-Make a waka canoe near Edgeville

You’ll need 4 parts -
the right half is dropped by minotaurs on lev. 1
bottom is dropped by flesh crawlers – lev. 2,
top is dropped by catablepon – lev. 3,
left skull half dropped by ankou on lev. 4,
and join all four parts once you have it.
Once you’ve finished all the hard tasks, talk to Vannaka in the Edgeville dungeon.
Vannaka takes the Varrock armour and carves some symbols into it. He waves his hands over the symbols and the armour appears to glow brilliantly.
He says: I have upgraded your Varrock armour for you so that when using the Edgeville furnace, you’ll have the chance of smelting an extra bar up to and including adamite. It will also give you the chance of an extra ore when mining up to adamite, as well.
I have watched your achievements with interest and have sent word to the Cooking Guild, west of Varrock. They have a prestigious bank there which you will be allowed entrance to, as of now, if you are wearing your Varrock armour.
He also gives another skill xp lamp that is worth 10k xp and tells you that if you lose your armour, he will replace it for you.
