Updates and Getting Level 99 Magic
There were a few updates today – Thursday – but nothing that effects the game at the moment. All the updates are talk about things coming up. One was a progress report concerning the 2nd batch of summoning creatures, friend’s list and lending. With the amount of times I get logged off, I would never borrow anything valuable from anyone and use it to go training on anything dangerous! The swap would only be as long as both accounts are signed in. Doesn’t Jagex realize how often we lag out no matter how good our comps are? They are also working on clan wars, grand exchange and a PvP mini game. They will be reducing the amount of random events soon – they should take out random events that occur in actions that demand personal attention. Who in their right mind would auto while ranging black dragons or while fighting the Kali Queen?
Ok – as far as the Magic level is concerned……
A couple of months ago, Primefalcon suggested that picking seaweed was a great second thing. Since I’m always looking for ways to do more than one thing at a time, I have tried it many times and it’s great! Usually I pick nightshade because I can always use those for herblore. Picking seaweed while alking or monk fishing is a great way to get it fast without having to go to Catherby. At the moment, I have 100 nightshade so seaweed is more needed. I’ve gotten more than 275 free seaweed while alking so far.

High alking is 65 and charging air orbs is 76 – so either gives fast magic xp! The gp from the air battlestaffs totaled in the millions! I got over 500 seaweed before I got my magic level.
Now going for the cape…………. smiling!
Well – evidently, getting a cape is no big deal anymore………..

Oh yes………….. Jagex should let the bankers be a price check for people who want to buy or sell goods so they don’t have to keep asking other players for – “Price check!” That is getting a bit bothersome to hear people saying that all the time. It would also give players a chance to see how much their item is worth before offering it for sale.
Well – I also had not tried out wildy mining until now and now I say………. don’t bother going out there! It is too difficult and a big waste of time! I went out three times and only got a full load once. The revenants teleblock you and zap you pretty hard too! I really will not waste my time going out there to mine any more! It would be better to world hop in the Hero’s area or use the Jaitso island.

i do think they should swap the season based lending system for a timed based system, like you can lend it for 1 hour then it goes back to the owner
im liking the sound of the rebalanced summoning and new pvp minigame…i may get into it ya know

I was high alking those air battlestaffs while picking up seaweed for my next session of glass and air orb making! I already have almost 1k seaweed again and 3k sand from Bert in Yanille – all for free too! The other thing I do is pick up nightshade while alking. I am always trying to combine actions for the next levels!

Congrats on 99 magic Marlaine. Hey, do you know what kind of mage armor i should wear for good magic bouneses? i have full blue mystic robes, an elemental shield, amulet of magic, and when i look at my stats i have 62 plus in magic. i thought mystic robes give you good magic bounis. Need help!!!!!!!!!!!!
