Thanksgiving Turkeys And Day 1 Of The Community Event 2009

This year, Runescape is holding a 4 day event for Thanksgiving. Each day, we will be given new clues and have to figure out what is needed to be given and in what quantities to a specific NPC that is also a part of the clues. Runescape is asking that we (bloggers and fansites) don’t disclose the answers – at least right away.

The Lumbridge Sage is located near the southern bridge near the Lumbridge Castle. He will not tell you anything useful – at least not the first day. You will have to figure out the clues to know how much of what you need to have in your inventory and who to speak to in order to proceed with the daily puzzle.

The Lumbridge Sage

Use the Forum Thread to get the daily clues and how many of each item we need to have in our inventory……………

When doing the clues, just decide what the answer is – like CaKe. Go to the ca in the clue chart and the Ke. Where the two intersect is your answer. In this case, the answer to the first clue is cake and the intersection spot is the rope. All the clues work the same way and, I suspect, either this chart or a new chart will be used every day to solve whatever clues are given in the following days.

Clue Chart

Use this clue to begin this event after figuring out what is needed –
“To a sponger of Lumbridge is to whom you must speak, He asks folks for money, week after week.”

Speak to a beggar with the items you need in your inventory.

First Person

He will tell you who to talk to tomorrow……….

Lachopher

(He might be talking about the Jolly Boar Inn in Varrock…. shhhhhh……)

That’s pretty much it for today – The Lumbridge Sage still will not answer any differently. To be honest, I’m not sure why he was mentioned.

I might add to this tomorrow…….. shrugs….. Time to stuff our little Thanksgiving bird and get it in the oven.

In case you missed the Turkey shoot – talk to the Cook’s Brother to help him gather turkeys for the big Thanksgiving Event feast.

Have a great Thanksgiving Feast every one and remember to say “I love you,” to whomever you feel like saying it to whether you can say it direct, call, email or have to send a loving thought to them! Hugggggggggggg!

    Great guide, keep it up.

I’m pretty sure he’s referring to the Blue Moon inn, as it’s near the wilderness (lawless lands).

  3. Primefalcon Says:

I think you mean the jolly boar as the blue moon is inside varrock ;-)
