Hard As A Rock! Easy As 2 Tons Of Granite!!

Wowowoow – I decided to see if I could get a Summoning level and have been gathering lots of the seconds needed for making the pouches. I was running over to the granite and saw a nice big, tempting star with two other people mining it – level 4……….. When it tubbed, I had to run back to the bank and get my star dust out from a couple of days ago. After returning to the granite mine, I decided to just mine granite rather that chase all over the place for 15 minutes and counting down, for some ore. I equipped the Varrock plate 3 since I was debating about mining somewhere so I just started pickin’. I did not know that the Varrock plate included granite! I did not know that Star Dust magic included granite!! I was often getting 3 chunks of granite at one time!!!

First I filled the Spirit Bird with the big 5kg pieces and then kept clearing 8 spots for more ore. I had a three rock row and still had plenty of time to drop ore while I waited for more to respawn. The biggest problem was keeping enough space open to mine more because of the multiples – I will admit that the Varrock plate assisted much more often than the Star Dust magic. Nevertheless – it was great xp!!!! (Hurts me to leave them on the ground – I am such a granite pincher!)

I logged out with 10 minutes on my Spirit Bird and logged back later to find 3 1/2 minutes on it………… hmmmmmmmmmmmm………………

I also went to Mithril dragons for my slayer assignment – used an overload before going down the steps – I surely forgot that it takes 50 hitpoints off you in steps of ten and quickly. I am getting to really love those rocktails! Dang good thing I didn’t sip that with dragon breath snorting on my face! Phew! While it zaps you five times, it holds you kind of paralyzed and helpless so don’t sip with in the middle of a big fight! 50 hitpoints guaranteed coming off and whatever else your opponent might throw at you could very well kill you!

I decided to work on slayer for more charms to insure that I can get a level once I knuckle down to do a Summoning level. If I’m lucky, I might get a decent way into a second level before I run out of charms and/or seconds. Unfortunately, I have 6 levels of Summoning to get before I can finish the elite tasks for the Ardougne Achievement Diary. There are plenty of shards in the bank after that accidental buy though. I might have to go hunt some more kyatts to make those wonderful teleport familiars!

Well back to my assignment – Nechryaels…… had over 187 – have 65 left now. These are good droppers sometimes – rune boots and stuff – so taking high alk along helps. Keep the little biters on the other side of your Nechryael and you save some of your hitpoint loss. They don’t bite hard but constantly. No point killing them – they don’t drop anything. The Nechs dropped a tooth and a loop half – soooooo……….. Multiple avantoe, toadflax, poison ivy, belledonna, and lots of other herbs and seeds…. lots of good stuff really.

It is Thanksgiving Day here in the US already and nothing new has been added to the Thanksgiving Event. I just talked to the Cook’s Brother again – no new dialogue.

Dang – I have to get some sleep and a new update just came out. It actually has nothing to do with the cook or the cook’s brother – double drat!!!! Sigh – I won’t be able to do this event until later since it is Thanksgiving and we have some rl things to do today………… Poooooooo – was watching for this and stayed up way too late! It’s a four day thing though and I’ll get on it as soon as I have some time to sit and read everything over……………….. Sigh…………..
