Runecrafting Curve Bends In A Nice Direction!
Alllllllllll right…….. I thought I’d do a bit of nature runecrafting for the heck of it. (And a break from smelting….. sigh…..) A normal load with the four pouches and a full load of pure essence normally gives me 54 natures. (At this point, I am 1/3 the way to Level 91 Runecrafting and at that level, you get constant doubles.)
Load 1.) 86
Load 2.) 89
Load 3.) 91
Load 4.) 82
Load 5.) 90
Load 6.) 82
Load 7.) 87
Load 8.) 90
Load 9.) 92
Load 10.) 82
Just for giggles – lets see what I get when I do a load of laws………… 54 as usual and 108 for cosmics, always. So the question is answered – you only get extra if you can actually reach the level to craft multiples.
Back to smelting……… Under 300k at this time………. zzzzzzzzzz
Under 260 but I still haven’t done my last 1k of gold ore…. saving it for a fast finish……… I’m trying to have the patience to smelt 1500 mith and addy bars before going to the anvil in Varrock to smith it. Almost there now.
I’ve had a bit of experience working with people who don’t speak English. I grew up interpreting for my Grandparents because they spoke German/Broken English. There is a much longer story about that but…. I was doing some abyss running, making laws. A guy from the Netherlands kept following asking how he could get past the borders/barricades. I had him show me what he was doing and where he was having a problem. First I thought he meant he couldn’t get in, then I thought maybe he didn’t have the runecrafting level but he did some laws when I did mine. He said he had 42 to 44 per trip so it came down to his not having a giant pouch. It took a long time to figure it out considering the different languages we were speaking. The time of not being able to understand people from other countries is coming to an end but there is something very cool about understanding things that take a bit of understanding from the heart. I have some Russian friends that I’ve helped understand spoken English. I even spent two months where almost no one else spoke English – which was seriously challenging but sooooooo fun! I’ve been going on non-English worlds on Runescape to watch people talk – even knowing most of the words aren’t spelled right… if the English speaking worlds are any example of percentageof perfect spelling. Heck, even figuring out what some people mean to say is interesting to me! Hey – wouldn’t it be fun to have a quest where nothing was in a familiar language? Hehehehehe…….. Call it Tower of Techno Babble or Cyco Babble. (Cyclecyco’s spelling there…..)
Ok – this time, while logged out to take Gypsy outside, the fruit bat clicked off time. (It’s a great familiar to tag along while you are smelting in Edgeville.) I summoned it just before leaving and when I logged in again, it had only 8 minutes left! Good thing I looked right away!
Just as I was going to go pick papayas in Lleyta – there was a star, glinting in my eye………… after a system update! I couldn’t see any update on Runescape’s home page but people were talking about turkeys running around in Lumby – guess what….. yuppppp…. the Thanksgiving Event has begun. Sorry – I must do the star before I go do the Event. It’s too big and not many people are at it – just must get that xp………….
I’ve been kind of messing around with a Twitter account under the name Marlaine Marie (Shocking name – isn’t it? Tisk) …. I am not exactly sure what to do with it. Prime says he has no interest in it. Then I saw that Jagex/Runescape has a Twitter going………….. Runescape Twitter. Also – here’s a link to the Developer’s Blog. The blog doesn’t seem like an actual blog but I thought you might like to have the link.
Ok – done with the star and with this post and going to go do the Thanksgiving Event! Gobble gobble gobble – oh, that’s more like Prime on Thanksgiving….. (Doesn’t hurt to have a decent cook making his Holiday feast either – does it? Smiling……… )
Well – I’m back from the Thanksgiving Event and, quite frankly, it was nothing more than a combat fight with a lot of big turkeys – shrugs.
Back to smelting and smithing………..
