Back To Rock Pickin’ – Mining!

Under 200k to level 98 Mining………. I’ve been working on mining in Keldagrim and in the Living Caverns. Killed a couple more Patriarchs in the Caverns, too, and have over 700 Rocktails to cook once I’ve smelted all the gold ore I’ve got saved up. Then I’ll change over my smelting gaunts to cooking gaunts for a while.

As kids, our Mom was a rock hound and everywhere we went, she made us pick rocks. (Us… CycleCyco and me……) We were Dog Show people and traveled the dog show circuits from New York to California – and everywhere in between. I have buckets of rocks and stones that I have used in house plant pots and aquariums. I especially remember sweating in the Arizona Dessert as I filled up my rock bucket. No – I did not enjoy it.

Sooooooooooooo……….. a few updates:

There are four new high-level elemental spells in the standard spellbook. The Wind Surge (level 81), Water Surge (level 85), Earth Surge (level 90) and Fire Surge (level 95). They all require one blood, one death, and seven air runes – plus 10 Water for the Water Surge, 10 Earth for the Earth Surge and 10 Fire for the Fire Surge. Sounds like a good time for an Air Battlestaff.

Magic Potion and the Extreme Magic Potion have been tweaked up a bit.

There are now chances for additional runes while working on runecrafting. For example, if you are level 90 Runecrafting, when you do Natures, you will have a chance of doing two every time, even though you aren’t up to 91 to constantly produce doubles. The same applies to all steps that produce mulitples – if you are over the level to make doubles, you have a chance to make 3 every time you make them. A shame I did so much Runecrafting last week!

Also – Cannons won’t waste cannonballs on dying NPCs. There is an auto setup for firing the cannon.

Now – if you logged out while on run, you will still be on run when you log back in.

So back to mining. I’ll break when it’s time to do those Penguins after reset time.

Also noted on the list of Daily Do-s … Both Dell Monte and Wizard Cromperty are an hour after the other UTC time for some reason for the time being. Maybe they change over the Daylight Savings time differently in specific zones.

Actually, I did Wizard Cromperty twice within 5 minutes both before and after the new day last night. I did, however, have to log-out and log back in again. He wouldn’t detect it otherwise.

I have done the same without logging out and also got the essence from Cromperty……… In fact, I often save up before and after reset tasks – even the battlestaffs sometimes.
