Time Is Stealing Away……….
I thought I’d mess around Thieving a bit after getting that Construction level. Setting up an Ardougne Knight in the north shop seems to work the best for me. In truth, I just wanted to knock it down from the 635k to under 600k – little goals are so much easier to reach! I was talking on the phone and kept working at it – noticing that I had actually gotten it under 550k at one point. Then I was listening to an audio book and suddenly noticed that I’m under 430k!!!!! I don’t know how much time it took to whittle that much away but I did a lot of work in between pick sessions – reading and studying, then fed our dog and went to Radio Shack – oh oppppps – The Shack as they now want to be known as………… Dinner’s almost ready and waiting for Prime to give the go-ahead, so I’ll be gone for a while.
I checked Miscellania for Teak logs today – two days worth ended up being 449 logs gathers on 1/3 the production. I upped the teak logs to 8 of 15 and the rest of the effort is on coal. I will definitely have enough logs for another level in about 2 weeks or less without doing anything else about it! I guess I know how I’m going to be getting Construction levels – smiling! I still have 7k oak logs to plank but not in a serious hurry to do it. I do love the balloon ride to the lumber yard and have been getting noted willows from evil trees – both reduce the time it takes to get prepared for a construction level. Since Prime and I are sort of making a point to do more Evil Trees, there’s no telling how many logs of various types I’ll be getting. I do go cut yews when I have the magic banking time – it’s just more worth it to me than doing those willows. Prime tells me willows sell faster than I said – but hey …… 8gp each is not worth the effort to me! I’d rather have a lovely stockpile of yews or magics to fletch or burn if I get around to working on high scores some more – or gp.
I changed my basic outfit to be a bit more like Elvira for Halloween but now I like it enough to keep it. Those green sleeves I had before really clashed with some of the things I was trying to put together for outfits. This will be much better and, when I’m not wearing agile legs or armour legs, it will look ok then too. What is with Jagex and the belts? Why not just a matching waist band thingy like the agile legs? Shrugs………..
This is the basic outfit I’ve been wearing while thieving………… The Bandos Boots have nothing to do with it except that they “go” with the outfit a bit – it is the boots that add the extra 1+ prayer bonus.
Under 300k at the moment. Sigh – I won’t get this level tonight but will definitely get it by the end of tomorrow – for sure!
