What To Work On Next… Building Up Construction?

After getting that level, I decided to keep working on Thieving to use up the Gloves of Silence enough to make repairing it worthwhile. It started out being 749k to the Level 94 Thieving and now – down to 635k. I actually fixed the gloves before they needed it because I needed to go made our dog and cats something to eat and start our dinner. Wowow – that xp is fastttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!! The gloves and cloak 3 really made a difference. I worked on it a while without either and really noticed a difference.

Another difference I’ve noticed lately is concerning the Giant Ent…… either I was unlucky enough never to get any of my nightshades doubled or Jagex changed the rate of additional items, but suddenly I’ve been getting double nightshades every second time I go there with a Giant Ent….. I still haven’t gotten any extra calquats.

I’m finally trying the balloon method of getting logs planked in Varrock. Primefalcon and I recently cleared the path to go to Varrock so we could try it out. Once you have it navigated from Castle Wars to Varrock or visaversa – it stays open for you to use whenever you want to use it – but we haven’t opened all the locations yet. (Each of the 4 paths you open after the initial Enlightened Journey Quest will give you 2k firemaking xp.) It takes a yew log to go to Castle Wars and a Willow log to go to Varrock. Or using a Duelin’ ring will take you back to Castle Wars without cutting or buying yew logs. Each spot you want to travel to takes a specific log once the path has been navigated.
Entrana takes a normal log – opened during Enlightened Journey Quest.
Taverley takes a normal log – opened during Enlightened Journey Quest.
Crafting Guild takes an Oak log.
Varrock – to the Lumber Yard takes a Willow log.
Castle Wars takes a 1 Yew log.
The Grand Tree takes a Magic log.

Up Up And Away

Now it’s on to Penguin Time – Time to Ping Points off of Pointy Penguins still in Pumpkin Party costumes!
