Well – imagine my surprise when I saw this strange addition to my Achievement Diary tally sheet………….

I added the whole list of tasks and requirements to the original post about this Ardougne Achievement Diary. Even I can not finish these elite tasks because my Summoning is not high enough – in fact, it’s 7 levels too low…………. sigh……….. I was just hoping to get the two levels to do the level 88 Unicorn and now it’s 93 I’ll have to get to finish the elite tasks!

Here it is ……….. Talk about being for high levels! A true challenge for both Primefalcon and me!

Elite Tasks

Skill levels required:
Level 81 Fishing
Level 93 Summoning
Level 82 Thieving
Level 75 Runecrafting
Level 91 Smithing
Level 69 Fletching

There are only five tasks but they require high level skills to accomplish:

-Catch a manta ray in the Fishing Trawler minigame
- Have an abyssal titan familiar hold essence for you, while runecrafting at Ourania Altar.
- Attempt to picklock the door to the basement in Yanille Agility Dungeon.
- Remove pure essence from a giant pouch at Ourania Altar.
- Make a rune crossbow yourself, from scratch, performing each step within either Witchaven or Yanille.
• Make sinew
• Craft crossbow string
• Fletch yew stock
• Smith rune limbs
• Fletch into rune crossbow

Rewards:
Four experience lamps granting 50,000 experience EACH to any skill level 85 or above.
Unlimited teleports to the farm north of Ardougne.

Wow! Look at those rewards!

Because I agreed to take on these additional tasks by talking to Aleck, when I do those things – even in an every day way – they will count towards fulfilling the required tasks. Don’t expect to see me getting Summoning levels every other week or anything because I just don’t want to concentrate on one thing. At the moment, I am getting very close to a couple of levels – one in Runecrafting and the other in Thieving………….. I had set out to get that beautiful 99 Mining level a couple of weeks ago and still haven’t done that much to get it. To be forthwith – I still miss the constant tending of my farming xp to get to 99 and once it was accomplished, I sometimes feel like a bumper car with too many walls to run into………….

I was going to do a bit of Fish Trawling because it was kind of interesting. Those manta rays give the Lyre 5 charges instead of the 4 that shark do – and the turtles earn 6 teles with the lyres. I knew it but hadn’t expected to go trawling. Because of that Achievement Diary, I am now in possession of quite a few rays ‘n torts so I can zip to Fremmy whenever I so choose……….

Also – here is that very easy toggle feature that was included in the Diary rewards……..

I picked the lock to the basement door in the Yanille Dungeon already so only 4 elite left………. I did that to get to the monkey bars for the other task. I had forgotten where the other end started and just traced it to see that it comes out near Watchtower. That blasted web always held me up because I usually didn’t take anything sharp to cut the webs with.

Since I moved the Watchtower tele, I am considering changing where I have my house. The new tele spot is in the street in front of the pet store in Yanille. As you can see, the cloak is not much to look at really but it sure gives a lot of help, especially with the Gloves of Silence that I had to make for the diary. The Paladins seemed slightly easier after I finished the Medium Tasks with both on.

When I was finishing up the medium part of the Ardougne Diary, I was stumped by the “After Meeting History…” part. I did some searches and kept ending up reading page after page yet left without a clue where I needed to go to accomplish that task. I did another search using the task clue and finally found a perfect pic to help me finish that section…………. here it is……….

Tisk – from my own quest guide for Meeting History……….. raised eyebrow….. the mini-map shows the exact spot you need to be to use the key’s locating sensor……. What can I say…….. I write so much that I could never remember everything I’ve written………… Heck, I never was very good at memorizing – I prefer improvising. (Feels weird to have my own stuff show up when I google for answers but it’s happening more all the time – even the eHow articles are starting to show up!~)

The 28k xp lamp from the Hard Tasks rewards will give me a Runecrafting level.

Coming right up – a thieving level! Hopefully tomorrow!
