A Level Or Two Soon……..
I did my Circus, the Penguins, and a couple of stars this week. I also did my normal battlestaff buying and Miscellania chores. Since I also cut a lot of magic logs whenever I do my trees and running around for farming, I had a lot of logs to fletch into longs and a nice stock of bow strings to finish them with – then I went to tele grab zammy wines and nightshades while I alked over 1k of those. Lots of xp and gp – AND seconds for herblore! I am getting pretty close to a level in herblore. I still need tons of fungus for the super energy pots. I might end up with enough for a level today. I just got under 100k to the level now doing the torstol pots but I need more jangerberries – sigh……..
I am seriously tempted to go get the 45k for a runecrafting level too but my “experiment” has been to put all penguin points, genie lamps and any miscellaneous extra skill awards on the runecrafting to get the level again without actually having to go many any runes. Snicker – but I am a high score aholic……… sigh……………..
The other thing ready to go is a stockpile of oak planks for a construction level. I have been getting a load here and there, bought about 2k already made and have been getting the planks as drops. The boredom of getting a full construction level – building and breaking down – sigh……… not something I am looking forward too unless I have a good audio book set up! Construction is click intensive so I have to watch as I work on it.
So I am not sure which one will be next ……… but I bet I’ll be getting at least one by the end of the day! Yipppppppppppppeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
Just as a notice, I am going to go through a couple more pages of spam – (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) – and then delete all the past spams since askimet holds those for 14 days before deleting but there are so many in there that it takes forever for me to check the newest pages. If I haven’t put up a comment that someone reading this knows they wrote, please re-write it. I’ve tried to find all the comments I accidentally marked as spam to fix it – but there are over 10k comments saved in there and I set up the spam filter to help me avoid that. If I delete the ones after checking 6 pages deep, and there are still real comments that got lost – I apologize! It will be much easier after I clean the slate and just see the latest 2k of them or whatever.
Ok spent quite some time going through those spams one more time and now they are gone. If you left a comment and don’t see it – do write again. It took forever to get from one page to the other before I deleted those spams. Now it’s zipping right along!
Well – I spent a lot of time gathering jangerberries and fungus… fun stuff there – zzzzzzzz…. A ninja, a magpie and various other implings got nabbed on the way to the ogre island – so I got a few extras while gathering! Of course – I also gathered more than I actually need now because I will need them later for the next level.

Finally got 97 Herblore and it’s off to the GE to unload those tons of pots……. smiling!

I know it might sound counter intuitive, but oak planks stink! Teak is the way to go to raise your con. Teaks making the legends cape cost less than 1gp/xp more than oak and are twice as fast. Oak larders cost about 7.1gp/ 1 con xp. Teak costs about 7.8/con xp. Sure they are more, but the time saved is huge, and with your stats, you make far more per hour to make up for that difference.
Making legends capes, you can get the same amount of xp in half the time at a negligible increase in cost.

I usually tele grab or pick up things I need (nightshade) when I have a pile of something to high alk – but even constant clicking bores me no matter how many things it’s actually getting done for me. A good audio book is usually my choice or I watch a movie or something on another window right next to my game window. I have also listened to language audio courses while doing that kind of seriously boring stuff – Russian for one. (Doesn’t mean I can speak Russian – just understand some words now – I don’t speak to any one who speaks it in rl.)

I am going to try that teak and legend cape thing RS…… I changed some of my Miscellania over to teaks and when I get my next Evil Tree log tele to the bank, I am going to go to Karamja and cut the teaks in the fenced in area near the Calquat tree! I’m planning on letting Miscellania save them up for me and then I’ll go get them planked using either the spirit bird (most likely) or the tortoise to get it done faster. I have so many spirit birds from earlier Summoning levels that I might as well use them.

Nope – the logs automatically taken to the bank does not work on mahoganys or teaks….. shrugs…….. Prime says willows are the best when you have the bonus. I have tired the maples while wearing the seers’ headband and that seems fasttttt! I want to try to remember to wear the rabbit’s foot to see if I actually get more nests.
