Well, Jagex has “merely” changed their customer support to a new place. Thanks to Primefalcon, I can add the new link to my pages on the right side of this blog. He said he stumbled across it by accident…………. They have also made other changes to logging in for us to make it easier – check their update.

I am working on that new quest and will try to have it up before I go to bed tonight. It is seriously cold in our part of the world today and was yesterday. Makes things kind of hard to get motivated to leave the warmth – wow – was about minus 35 with the wind chill factor last night. Even our dog had problems outside during her 3 minute run!

Ok now……. Prime and I have been going to Mith Dragons a bit lately – Prime more than me and I kept hearing about all the great stuff he’s been getting…….smiling!

So – I also know most people don’t go there and I had the same nervousness about it! While those brutal greens drop two green hides a kill, the mith dragons drop 3 mith bars every kill with the bones. I don’t know about the greens and their rate of charm drop but the Mith drags drop 4 charms nearly every kill. Those charms can be four of any color! They also drop rune items that you might alk, sell, or keep.

Use the accumulator to pick up your diamond tipped enchanted addy bolts (take about 300) for you while you use the rune crossbow on the Mith Dragon. Those enchanted bolts pierce through the dragon’s defenses. Use your best range gear that you are willing to lose. I am using my black dragonhide body and legs, with the barrows gloves that you can buy after all of the parts of the Recipe For Disaster quest is completed. I do not want to risk my ranger hat and boots on this until I am completely sure of myself in there! Take home tele tabs. If you die after teleing home, you will not lose your stuff. Also!!!!!!!!!! Boombaye reminded me to add this (Thanks Boom!)………….. before you go down those steps after entering the whirlpool: Sip your antifire pot, sip your range, have protect from melee on and have run on – be sure your hits and prayer levels are right up to full because you don’t want to be worried about those things.

This is what I wear – for now…… I don’t want to risk my boots as I said, and I don’t have any others that would do much good.

Use protect from melee and stand real close when you fight the Mith Dragon! It’s magic is weaker than the melee but if you stand back more, it hits with both magic and range! Plan on killing only two or three at first…… I have gotten five in one run.

I have also gotten spirit weed seeds and have been growing them. There evidently was a glitch keeping us from picking but that has definitely been fixed. I have grown and picked 4 seeds – they are planted in the herb spot. I have to go down to cockatrices for those eggs but will a bit later. You can buy those seeds on the Grand Exchange or orges or Moss Giants might drop them.

Got 45 Summoning…….. now it’s getting harder to do!
Also got 96 Crafting………. still working on that Mage level!
