Trying to Jump Up An Agility Level
Sunday, December 30th, 2007First of all…………. Boombaye1 ……….. I want to say that I accidentally deleted your comment but I appreciate your congrats and your comments any time!!!!!!!! Smiling……. I don’t know if anyone else has this problem but my comments awaiting moderation was unbelievable today! Sigh……. mostly spam though I have to admit! 418 comments…………. shaking head. So I allowed one spam by accident and deleted Boom’s…….. Good thing I don’t just allow all comments though…….. you guys wouldn’t believe how many I get in a week – a month – I can’t believe it myself! A lot are the last dying gasps of gold dealers, I’ve noticed and Jagex definitely appreciates all the links.
Ok …….. I know that most people who play Runescape do the Tears of Guthix every week, if they have completed that quest. It is a little pain to get down to Juna, the snake, to tell her a story but well worth the efforts. Primefalcon and I generally get an extra 5k xp in our lowest skill every week. We have both noticed that even though we do every quest as it comes out, we are still getting the basic 5k we were getting a year ago at least. With every quest, Jagex seems to up the jump on those blue and green streams rate of change over. I average about 100 tears a week and Prime gets about 120 – he’s better at it than I am…… smiling. His highest tears collection was 166 tears but that was on Feb. 7, 2007 – he hasn’t gotten any where near that in 8 months and yet we’ve both done every quest since. Each quest is supposed to give you more time in the cave with the streams. I don’t think it would be worth it for those with few quests unless the ratio is different for less quests.
We can do tears now – in case you don’t know, click the quest menu and then click Tears Of Guthix … it will tell you if you can do tears for the week. But I had to get my agility higher than my runecrafting so the xp will go to the harder skill. Afterwards, I will do a round of my herbs and Miscellania and then get my agility level. Only about 120k to the level anyway so might as well suffer that boring boring skill to get it over with – at least for a while!
For summoning…… I hope we can keep a creature around and that we can have a guard dog. I love it by the vine because that dang dog reminds me of our own Noodle Doodle……. hahahaha……….
Sieg………. about 99s and not having patience to get there……. I am almost to 99 magic because I am making those air battlestaffs for crafting! I have upped about 5 levels since I started doing the Bert – sand, Catherby – seaweed, and Varrock staffs. Let’s face it, I have to do something with all those dang staffs and they do not sell on the exchange. I have 10 test staffs there listed at just a little over the high alk price and they just sit there like my Tante Johanna’s Greenaglaza dumplings in your stomach! Tisk……….. so I alk and that also gives me gp…….. a lot of gp. (Remember – the staff buying price in Baba Yaga’s is now 8500 a staff no matter how many or few there are and they are 7000 in Varrock for your daily allotment of 64.) When I alk, I go somewhere that I can pick something up here and there while I alk, like zammy wines or nightshades. Whenever you can combine skills while working at a specific skill, you know it’s going to get you to 99 faster for all the skills. The only thing I am sort of unhappy about is not needing any of the combat xp skills anymore – except prayer. I need range though so I always go ranging dragons – which gives me bones for prayer, (of course) hides for crafting, range xp, and later hi alking of whatever dragon tops I make … usually black ones.
